Hindsight 20/20 - Wrath of the Raakshasa: A Morality-based Action RPG

HindsightWrath of the Raakshasa is a 3D third-person action RPG developed by Triple-I Games for PlayStation 5. The game offers a unique experience where players can relive their past playthroughs and discover vastly different gameplay and story experiences. The game is founded on five pillars, namely, choice in combat, a malleable world, interesting AI and bosses, the experience engine, and ten different endings.

In Hindsight 20/20, players assume the role of one-armed warrior Jehan who must decide the fate of two kingdoms. Every battle in the game requires players to make a conscious decision to use a non-lethal stun rod to pacify enemies or a ruthless sword to put them down for good. The game's malleable world and inhabitants switch between several states of disdain or acceptance for Jehan, depending on the player's choices and actions. The game's bosses exhibit emotion, making them more relatable, and they react to Jehan's actions, blurring the line between good and evil. The game has ten different endings, each carefully tailored to the choices and actions made in that journey.
